It's the holiday season and Samsung is giving Sprint customers a treat. Phone Arena received the first picture of the Sprint branded, super slim Samsung M520 slider previously exclusive to Qwest. Interestingly enough, I found out that Qwest customers can subscribe to Sprint Power Vision. Apparently, Qwest is authorized to sell Sprint services. Anyways there is not much to tell about this phone's software, it's a basic Samsung phone. Nothing fancy. The story to tell though, is the phone's thickness of 0.5 inches. Another beautiful piece of hardware from Samsung. The phone is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera, 16 mb built in memory, and a microSD slot. In terms of battery life it has 157 hours and has 3.3 hours of talk time. The phone weighs 2.8 ounces.
I personally think this is a great phone if you are looking for a slim, nice looking phone with the basics. It has an acceptable camera, expandable memory, and is 3G and GPS enabled. There is no confirmed release date for the phone. It doesn't have much in terms of heavy duty functionality. It probably has an interface very close to other Sprint Samsung phones. A full list of specs can be found here. The phone has a user rating of 7.7/10 from 2 reviews (probably for the Qwest version) which are overall positive.
